Water is drawn from one kilometre below the ground in the lower greensand layer and from a chalk aquifer layer beneath the Thames Valley. Water has been filtered for several thousand years and it is high quality and pure. Our water prices are cheaper than the local water supplier. Sewerage services on the Trading Estate are supplied by Thames Water.
Ø Saving Water Calculate your water consumption by looking at your previous water bills Read your water meter/s and record on a regular basis – look out for unexplained fluctuations. Check for and fix leaks. Install cistern devices (Save-a-Flush) in toilet cisterns with flush volumes more than 7.5 litres. Install and maintain urinal controls in gentlemen’s toilets. Out of hours, the controls will limit flushing to hygiene flushes, dramatically reducing your water consumption. Repair dripping taps by replacing washers. Make your grounds water efficient by choosing drought tolerant plants, using mulch to retain moisture and employing efficient watering regimes.
